BearCarson LLC, a Texas Limited Liability company d/b/a Carson&Bear (“us”, “we”, “our”, or “Carson&Bear”) operates (i) CarsonandBearPets.com website and/or other domains or websites (collectively, “Website”), (ii) the smart phone or tablet applications which we may own or operate currently or in the future (collectively, the “Portable App”), (iii) any other computer based applications we offer (“App”), (iv) the Tailscore App, (v) the Nutrition Clinic App, and (vi) any content or information through any other online, tablet or mobile-enabled technology, digital tools and other services and products provided by us (“Other Access”). Items (i)-(vi) shall be, collectively, referred to as the “Services.”
This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when using the Services and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Carson&Bear may change this policy from time to time. Your continued use of the Services after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes. Please check the policy periodically for updates.
Information Collection and Use
While using our Services, we may ask you to disclose to us certain non-public personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (Private Information”). Private Information may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, payment information, telephone number and information on your pets and the members of your household.
We collect Private Information when you provide it to us through our Services. Additional Private Information we may solicit or collect by way of the Services includes, but is not limited to:
· Any information that you disclose by filling in forms on our Services. This includes information disclosed at the time of registering to use our Services, subscribing to our service, posting material, or requesting further services.
· Records and copies of your correspondence including email addresses, if you contact us.
· Your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research purposes from time to time.
· Details of purchases you make and related activities such as shipping, quality control, customer satisfaction, help-desk requests or other requests. You will be required to disclose your financial and payment information before completing a purchase or subscription sign-up via the Services.
How We Use Your Private Information
We use your Private Information that you disclose to us or that we collect about you, to do the following:
· To provide and market our Services to you.
· To send you information, products, or services that you request from us.
· To send you newsletters, marketing or promotional material, and other Carson&Bear information.

We may provide Private Information that you disclose, as described in this Privacy and Information Use Policy, to our affiliates, subsidiaries, contractors, or other service providers for purposes of providing the Services you request. Any persons that we provide your Private Information to are bound by contractual obligation to keep your Private Information confidential and to restrict use of the Private Information just to the purposes we permit.
Promotional Offers
If you do not wish to have your Personal Information used by Carson&Bear to promote our own products or services, you can opt-out by following instructions in the Services secor by sending us an email stating your request to customersupport@CarsonandBear.com. If we send you a promotional message, email or text, you may send us an email at customersupport@CarsonandBear.com asking to opt-out from such future solicitations or promotions. This opt-out does not apply to Private Information Carson&Bear uses to contact you about a purchase you have made unless required by law.
User Contributions and Posts
You also may provide information to be published, posted, or displayed on public areas of the Services, or transmitted to other users of the Services or third parties (collectively, "User Contributions"). Your User Contributions are posted on and transmitted to others at your own risk. This may include, but is not limited to, information you post about your pet, images of your pets, engagement and participation in live events hosted by Carson&Bear, responses to blogs or social campaigns, and pet health data you publicly post. We do not adopt, support, verify or condone the content of User Contributions. The views expressed in any User Contribution is solely that of the user who provided the contribution. The user who provides or republishes a User Contribution is solely responsible for its content.
Please refrain from posting any Personal Information, including your physical address, email address or telephone numbers, to the publicly visible forums or comment sections on the Services.
Although you may set certain privacy settings for such information through your account profile, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. Additionally, we cannot control the actions of other users of the Services with whom you may choose to share your User Contributions. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your User Contributions will not be viewed by unauthorized persons.
Disclaimer of Views and Information
The view and opinions expressed by users on the Services are those of the users and do not necessarily reflect the views, opinions, or position of any other person, including Carson&Bear. Any medical or veterinary information shared by users is not endorsed by Carson&Bear and each user should seek out a licensed medical or veterinary professional if needed.

State Privacy Rights
State consumer privacy laws may provide their residents with additional rights regarding our use of their personal information:
California residents’ have certain privacy rights with respect to their Personal Information. Carson&Bear is a service provider for the purposes of the CCPA, to the extent it applies, and is receiving personal information from customers in order to provide certain services, which constitutes a business purpose. Carson&Bear shall not sell any such personal information. Carson&Bear shall not retain, use or disclose any personal information provided by a customer except as necessary for the specific purpose of performing the services for the customer, or otherwise as permitted by the CCPA. The terms “personal information,” “service provider,” “sale,” and “sell” are as defined in Section 1798.140 of the CCPA. In the event Carson&Bear receives a verifiable request from a California consumer to delete the consumer’s Personal Information, Carson&Bear shall comply with such request, unless an exception under the CCPA applies to the Personal Information.
Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah each provide their state residents with rights to confirm whether we process their personal information, access and delete certain personal information, information regarding data portability, and opt-out of personal data processing for targeted advertising and sales.
Colorado, Connecticut, and Virginia also provide their state residents with rights to correct inaccuracies in their personal information, taking into account the information's nature processing purpose, and opt-out of profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Nevada provides its residents with a limited right to opt-out of certain personal information sales. However, please know we do not currently sell data triggering that statute's opt-out requirements.

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to the Services.
